Westside Union Terminal Railroad is the permanent HO layout in the HQ of the North London Society of Model Engineers, built and maintained by the North American section. It is the third layout of this name but the only one on that has occupied this room. The previous ones were built in the Westside hall when the group met there. This idea of this gallery is to guide you round the layout and show off some of the models separately from the NLSME pages.

Baldwin is a passing loop on the mainline but also has the exchange yard for the coal mine joining the mainline at the west end. SP 5006 enters the yard whilst 2546 wights to decend to Lima.

To the east of Baldwin the main line heads into the Erie tunnels. In reality a large reversing loop and storage tracks. 4101 blasts out and accross the canion into Baldwin. The track closer to the camera is the mine branch the loops and climbs steeply over the Erie mountain.
